Boyd Blue to launch own line

Interior design specialist Boyd Blue is preparing to launch its own collection of home décor products and accessories at the upcoming Decoration + Design.

Bearing the ‘Boyd’ brand name, the company’s first proprietary range would offer “inspirational pieces sourced from around the globe, with an international eclectic mix of ‘ethnic chic’, including pieces with an industrial edge and worked in with ‘Newport coastal’, comprising furniture, lighting, mirrors and decorative accessories,” said company founder Shelley Boyd.

Boyd Blue’s Decoration + Design stand would feature a large installation including two spaces, one indoor and one outdoor, to reflect the Boyd Blue signature aesthetic, she added.

“We’re looking forward to launching the Boyd brand at Decoration + Design. We’re doing a huge photo shoot so that we have a great new catalogue by July and we’re also re-vamping our website, which will include a defined segment on the Boyd brand.”

Other key brands represented by Boyd Blue at Decoration + Design would include leading artisanal soft furnishings name Bandhini, high end outdoor furniture label Posi (pictured right) and luxe furniture brand White, offering crafted contemporary sofas, armchairs, ottomans and bed heads with a classic twist.

With expertise in the interior design, architectural and interior retail industries, the Boyd Blue team planned to promote the company’s discerning and innovative design collections to a wider market through showing at the trade fair.

Boyd Blue will be on show at Decoration + Design from 21-24 July at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
