Danish Innovation for compact spaces

25 June 2021

Amadi Furniture will be publicising a recent strategic shift at the upcoming Furnitex trade fair in Melbourne next month. The company, known historically for timber furniture, has secured exclusive distribution rights to the Innovation brand from Denmark.

Founded in 1971, Innovation is a specialist in furniture designed for compact living spaces, with most of their contemporary sofas converting into beds, as Amadi founder and director Robert Stephan confirmed.

“With famous Danish designers like Per Weiss and Peter Henriksen on staff, Innovation furniture blends the best of traditional Scandinavian design with modern engineering to make great functional furniture of high quality and durability at an affordable price. Basically, the product looks great, is reasonably priced, and is unique in design.”

“Innovation has outlets and distributors across the globe, and Amadi is now growing the brand in Australia. We are supplying retailers, and designers with the product, as well as launching the first innovation concept retail store earlier this year in Brisbane, with more to follow around the country.”

Amadi and Innovation will be showcased at the Furnitex trade fair from 15-18 July 2010 at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
