Dare Global Australia: High-gloss glamour

29 June 2021

Ruby Chan knows her target market. A typical profile would be an upwardly mobile young professional who loves that cool, ultra-modern look and has zero time for high maintenance décor.

“Our furniture is very European-looking – quite different from what you find in the US. It’s also competitively priced because we have a factory-direct service that eliminates middlemen,” says the Adelaide-based Dare Global director who heads design.

“We sell across Australia and New Zealand, and that clean, sleek look obviously has strong appeal. We do a lot of apartment and display home projects.”

Sure to attract attention at Furnitex will be Dare Global’s glamorous new range, Milan, with its high-gloss veneer pieces – some incorporating glass and one-touch lighting – in white, black and walnut, either single-tone or contrasting.

A range of home accessories, from lighting to flooring, is being planned by Dare Global, which will be moving into larger premises later in the year. In the meantime, the company has introduced a custom-made service for retail and commercial projects.
