Oz made brand on promo drive

Australian made bedding and bedroom furniture specialist Candlewood is planning a return to Furnitex this year in order to capitalise on retail exposure and drive its brand profile.

“The Melbourne fair certainly attracts a high level of key retailers, so we believe it’s a great way to promote awareness of our brand,” said director Nick Theologou. “We stocked in a couple of major chains as well as smaller independent stores but we believe now is the right time to start getting our name out there again.”

Founded 11 years ago and headquartered in Melbourne, Candlewood’s point of difference was premium craftsmanship underpinned by a strong quality assurance ethos, he confirmed. The company was also committed to continually innovating its ranges, he said, with recent additions encompassing children’s bedding and new finishes including chocolate paintwork.

Candlewood will be showcasing its bedding and furniture at Furnitex from 15-18 July at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
