“Our ability to protect our designs is our real strength,” says Silver Lynx’s general manager and co-owner Simon Bowler. “As a result, Silver Lynxcopyists haven’t been able to bastardise them and flood the market with cheap versions.”

It has been almost two decades since he joined his father Howard in the Melbourne family firm that was established in 1962 and has won a raft of awards for design excellence in bedroom, occasional and dining furniture.

Silver Lynx“My father has been in the furniture industry for 57 years,” notes Simon. “Innovative contemporary and traditional design for the top end of the market has been our mainstay and we do push the creative boundaries to maintain our edge.”

With an in-house design team led by Damir Tankovic and top freelance talents such Silver Lynxas David Durance adding their skills, Silver Lynx has built up an enviable product range that is regularly boosted by fresh designs.

Furnitex will showcase the latest. “We’ll be exhibiting new bedroom and occasional ranges,” says Simon Bowler.
